It was a sad and sombre moment as the Lagos and Nigerian high society gardered to pay their last respect to Former beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodalo who was buried today. Fans, friends, family members and other prominent people all over Nigeria wailed and paid glowing tribute to to this exceptional woman who left too soon at the very prime of her life.
Ibidun’s body arrived this morning in a black Coupe Benz in her residence. Nigeria’s foremost funeral home, MIC was in charge of the funeral possession.
Ibidun reportedly passed on in her hotel room in Port Harcourt last week, where she had gone to set up a COVID-19 Isolation Centre for the state government.
Ibidun was the 5th child of eight children of late Olaleye Ajayi. She attended K-Kotun Primary School in Surulere Lagos, before heading for the Federal Government Girls College, Oyo State for her secondary education.
She proceeded to study Microbiology at the University of Lagos, Akoka, after which she acquired further training in Business Management from the Lagos Business School. Sheet was also a fellow of the National Institute Marketing, Nigeria (NIMN). May the gentle soul of this deperted star who touched so many lives on her short sourjorn on eath rest in peace. Amen.
