Chief Excecutive Officer of Labo business group, Olabisi Akanbi is in happy mood as you are reading this piece.
The estate management expert has won the best Estate Management Company of the year 2020 at the just concluded City Pride Achievers Awards held at LCCI, Alausa , Lagos penultimate Sunday.
At the awards ceremony, despite #endsars protest going on in the country, high profile celebrities troop out massively to receive their awards in business, politics, media , maritime, automobile and other categories who really worked assiduously to achieving a lot during COVID-19 in helping lots of people and post lockdown elevating other people on their businesses .
This is the pay back time for Olabisi Akanbi who had assisted people and grow lots of business chains in estates management, automobile and entertainment respectively, Joshua Uloko , Publisher City Pride Magazine said during a courtesy visit to Labo C E O at his Lekki office, Lagos.
“We have heard lots of good things this man has done during COVID-19 that he aided lots of people. Despite business challenges in Nigeria this year , he assisted youths. As Nigeria clocks 60 years , Labo Foundation celebrates Independent day with the future of our Nation Children programme. The Foundation as well hosted 1,000 Children In Ibeju Lekki area during September 2020 as a result of Covid-19 lockdown pandemic. It also contributed food and take home packs for people, as findings available revealed.
He has also employed almost fifty
young graduates and fifty labours to alleviate poverty in Lagos and Nigeria at large.
“Without being immodest , he merited our award. He has proven to be a good role model to many young achievers out there. Young people are celebrating him. That is the reason we are also celebrating him” Joshua said this while presenting the award to Akanbi.
When receiving the award, Akanbi showered lots of accolades on City Pride publisher for the recognition.
“We appreciate every positive comments being said about Labo business group. It has been our business philosophy that only government cannot do everything alone. We have to help people also . That is how Nigeria can move forward. We will continue to do our best. I dedicate this award to our staffs who have been working hard to make sure we are recognized”, Labo boss said.
It would be recalled that recently Akanbi was honoured by NANS .
