SIFAX Group boss and billionaire mogul, Dr Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi has received Eminent Personalities Award 2021( Entrepreneurship, Philantropy & Humanitarian services), courtesy of KRM Communications Concept, publisher of The Message International magazine.
The coveted award was presented to the famous and influential entrepreneur by the publisher and Chief Organizer of the award, Mr Tade Asifat on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in his Apapa, Lagos office.
While receiving the award with medal and copies of the special anniversary edition of the magazine on behalf of the Ondo born mogul, Mr Phillip Ojo commended the publisher and the organizers for the honour.
“Thanks so much for the honour. You have really done well”, he said.
Eminent Personalities Awsrds is organized annually by KRM Communications Concept, publisher of The Message International magazine to celebrate those that have excelled in their choice careers and have contributed directly or indirectly to the development of Nigeria in no small measure.
The award is not meant for every Tom, Dick and Harry, but for those that have made their marks and have impacted lives greatly; hence the nomenclature, Eminent Personalities of which SIFAX Group Vice Executive Chairman/CEO, Afolabi is one.
No doubt, his wealth of experience, organizational prudence and business ingenuity have remained invaluable assets to Sifax Group, which has become a leading player in the Nigerian economy. The company alongside its subsidiaries, has generated both direct and indirect employment for thousstho of eligible Nigerians irrespective of any religious or ethnic affiliation.
Afolabi is a seasoned maritime consultant and a Fellow of many professional bodies, including Nigerian Institute Financial Management (NIFM), Institute of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria(IFFN), and the Chartered InstitiIn of Arbitrators of Nigeria. He has attended several maritime and aviation-related trainings both locally and Internationally on port operations, aviation ground handling operations and management. Due to his rch experience, Afolabi is a sought-after speaker and facilitator at various industry conferences and mentoring programmes.
Aside being renowned for his business acumen, the Ondo born billionaire mogul has also established a reputation as a public-spirited individual. His philantropic philosophy has also driven him to give hope and support to many public causes. The major focus of this philantropic initiative is education, where many schools, from primary to tertiary level have received immense support and asdassista. Few of these intervention include a 1, 000 capacity lecture lecture theatre at Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo state and an 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus donated to the Medical Students Association of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state.
