Top Politicians,Royal Father’s Others HonoredOshodi-Isolo Council Boss At His Mum’s Final Burial

Yard 158 on Oregun was on Sunday wore a colourful look and was in carnival mode as several dignitaries including politicians,business owners ,market men and women as well as politicians honour the Executive Chairman of OshodiIsolo local government,Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede at the final burial ceremony of his mother , Late Alhaja Hon, TayeloluAlmoroof.

The Event centre was beautifully decorted with expensive materials to show the class and panache ,to make statement about the personalities  holding the party.

Though a Sunday, guests of the chairman and his siblings started arriving the venue as early as 12 noon, decked in the beautiful and colorful Ankara Aso Ebi chose for the celebration of life and times of the amazon.

There was enough to eat and drink at the party as the chairman and his siblings gave their late mother a befitting final burial.

Chairmen of Local government and local council development areas, under the auspices of Lagos State conference 57, honoured one of their own with their presence as most of them including the chairman of ALGON, HonourableKoladeAlabi were in attendance.

Oshodi-Isolo council management staff equally turned out in large number to honor their boss, while market men and women from Oshodi-Isolo local government, led by the Iyaloja General Chief Mrs Ejide Adeyanju and the Babaloja of Oshodi, Alhaji Abdul Kolawole Sanni, popularly known as Provida led market men and women to honor the departed mother  of the council boss ,who was the first Iyaloja general of Oshodi-Isolo..

Members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers also trooped out in large number to celebrate with the amiable council boss and they were led by their Chairman, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya.

The chairman and Chief Executive of Confidence Cargo, Mr Dada Aigbe and several other clearing agents honored the council boss with their presence.

The Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, Alhaji Adedayo Thomas led the federal government’s delegation to the event with his staff, friends and political associates.

The political class was led by the Apex leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in OshodiIsolo local Government, PaJ. O. Olabintan and many other leaders.

Councilors from Oshodi-Isolo local government equally showed solidarity with their chairman and they were all present at the shindig.

Traditional leaders at the event include the Olu of Ojokoro, Elewu of Ewu kingdom, Former Ambassador of Nigeria to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro was also on hand to celebrate with the council boss as well as Otunba Jide Oni, a chieftain of the APC.

Speaking with journalists at the occasion, the ebullient council helmsman thanked God for giving him the opportunity to bury Alhaja Almoroof and finally bid her farewell.

He described his late mother as a very loving and supportive mother who encouraged him, as well as his siblings in their chosen fields and that she was the inspiration that led him to where he is today.

He finally prayed to God to grant his mum eternal rest and promised on behalf of his siblings to continue the Legacy of good work left by their mother.

Those present at the  high class event include chairmen of councils and LCDA, Hon. Valentine Buraimoh, Sesan Daini, Rasak Ajala, David Famuyiwa, and several others, as well as vice chairmen of local government and local council development areas across the state.

On hand to add colour to the occasion was Alhaji Shefiu Alao all the way from Abeokuta who thrilled the audience with his melodious and classical fuji  music, which the celebrants and their guests danced to.

The event complied with the covid 19 precautionary measures, and safety officers were on hand to monitor the level of compliance..
