The Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams has applauded the Ondo state governor, Mr.Lucky Aiyedatiwa for appointing popular lawyer, Kayode Ajulo SAN as one of his commissioner-nominees in Ondo state.
Iba Adams also described the appointment as well deserved, saying it is the best decision that could help in actualizing the governor’s vision for the state.
The Yoruba generallissimo,in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media Kehinde Aderemi,said the silk has made remarkable impact in the legal profession and he has what it takes to change the course of history in Ondo state.
The Aareonakakanfo pointed out also that Ondo state has just lost one of the brilliant son,a senior advocate and former governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, however,the appointment of Ajulo would open a new vista of hope for the people of the state.
” I believe strongly that Mr. Kayode Ajulo SAN would do his very best in advancing the dreams of the state.
“I appreciate the governor for this bold initiative.Barrister Kayode Ajulo’s appointment as one of the commissioners in Ondo state was well deserved and I believe without doubt that Ajulo will do everything that is possible to add value to public service in Ondo state.
“Ajulo’s appointment came just a few months after he became the Senior Advocate of Nigeria.It was a new challenge and opportunity for the Ondo state- born Senior Advocate of Nigeria to key into the vision of the governor and bring about the best in service delivery.
“Barrister Kayode Ajulo is a result- oriented person and he is very blunt and courageous.He is a worthy ambassador of the legal profession and Ondo state would benefit from his wealth of experiences.
“From his antecedents,Kayode Ajulo SAN has distinguished himself as a successful lawyer and a worthy son of Ondo state and the governor had done well by identifying such a success- driven personality with a big ambition to make the difference in the state.
“Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa saw the need to make Ondo state the leading state in the south west,and with the appointment of Barrister Kayode Ajulo (SAN),the son of the soil from Ifira Akoko,as one of the newly appointed commissioners in the state,I know Ondo state, which, of course is my state, will be better for it”,Iba Adams stated.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, had,last week named Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and five others as commissioner- nominees and their names have therefore been sent to the Ondo state House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
