The Executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede (Kendoo) on Wednesday conducted on the site inspection of the on-going construction work of Adeyemi road.
While inspecting the project, the attention of the chairman was drawn to certain areas of the road that equally need attention, Particularly the dilapidated drainages of Furniture Bus Stop and Sunmola Abayomi Street.
The chairman, seeing that the construction of the drainage will complement the ongoing efforts and make the road durable and befitting, vowed to immediately mobilize contractors to site.
On getting to Oja-Oke axis of the road, the chairman also noticed that the drainages were totally blocked with dirts and needed urgent attention to allow for free flow of water.
The chairman noted that “we appreciate the construction of this road by the state government, this road is very important to our residents.
Our attention has however been drawn to the drainages that have collapsed as well as the ones in the Oja-Oke axis that have been blocked with plastic bottles and other dirts. We shall mobilize contractors to site to commence immediate work”, he noted.
The chairman had in his entourage the vice chairman, Hon. Mrs Modupe Badmus-Aregbe,leader of the house,Hon Rasheed Obasa Heads of departments, APC chieftain, Alhaji Jimoh, to mention but a few.
