Council Boss HON. OMOLOLA R. ESSIEN Commence Relief Packages To Cushion The Effects Of Fuel Subsidy Removal Hardship

As part of effort to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal, The Chairman, Hon. Mrs Omolola R. Essien distributed palliative packags to members of Lagos Mainland Local Government. The relief package which were mainly foodstuffs were distributed today 15th Aug 2023, at the Council Secretariat of Lagos Mainland Local Government.

According to the council boss; Lagos Mainland Local Government is one of the most vibrant Local Government in Lagos State Nigeria with it emergetic communities that have the interest of the people at heart. As deem fit to donates food palliative to the residents, to ease the pains and to cushion the impact of the current Economy situation in the communities.

She urge all residents to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the fuel subsidy removal is aimed at improving on the Economy of our great country for the benefits of all. She also commend the great efforts of our Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for putting in place relief package in the state and encourage Local Government/LCDA to follow suit. The Federal Government has awarded contract for the rehabilitation of Roads which will commence soon.

She said her Administration will not relent on the welfare of the community. Different measures are being put in place for the improvement of the community. The food palliative distributed today consists of Rice, Beans, Garri, yam and palm oil.

Likewise the former Chairman of the defunct Mainland Local Government, Otunba Tayo Oyemade also supports and the believe in the administration of the president H.E Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver sooner than expected.

Also at the palliative presentations ceremony were Hon. Asap, Vice chairman,Alh. Hon Jubril Emilagba, SLG, Hon. Wasiu Ogunniyi,Council Leader, Hon. Azeez Oloto, Hon. Tunde Busari, Hon. Billiaminu Aduramigha, Hon. Toyin Fanoiki, Hon. Ayo Frank, Hon. George Fadodun and supevisor for education Hon. K.K Omolaja, supervisor for health, Alh. Afeez M. Danmola, supervisor for youth and sports, Mr Lateef Yussuf, supervisor for budget, Hon. Rafiu Sallam, Special adviser On Market, Mrs Kafarat, Special Adviser On Special duties, Mr Agbaje,Chief of staff, Mr Taofeek Balogun, Youth Leader Central Hon. Matti Eshilokun and other members of the management staff.
