Garlands For Mayor Rohey Malick Lowe As REFELA President

Good things are looking the way of this woman of virtue and excellence in all ramifications. When you are good in all you do better things will continue to trail you. In an election held at the Africities 9 Summit in Kenya’s port city of Kisumu, Banjul City, vivacipus and effervescent Council BCC Mayor  Rohey Malick Lowe; Banjul Mayoress was elected President of the Network of Local Elected Women of Africa (REFELA.) Mayor Lowe replaced Macoura Coulibaly Dao of Ivory Coast. In the words of her progenitors, “This is a great achievement for The Gambian that presents a unique opportunity for our Local Government Administration in our development efforts,” GALGA President Landing B. Sanneh, Chairman, MKAC commented about the election. Along with the entire Local Government Leaders, most of whom equally attended the summit, they congratulated Mayor Lowe on her election and assured her of GALGA’s support at all time.
