Presently, it is not a rosy moment for the Chairman National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Branch Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo as his dear wife, Alhaja Sherifat Adewunmi Isiotan-Akinsanya lost her father Alhaji Abdul-Lateef Babatunde Isiotan to the cold hands of death. Alhaji Isiotan left this sinful world on Friday, 12th of February, 2021 in Atlanta Georgia, the United States of America. The caring, lovable, inspirational and above all, God-fearing Alhaji Isiotan died at the age of 83. The body of this ebullient Islamic cleric will be brought back to the shores of Nigeria as planned by the family. However, children of the deceased are, Alhaja Sherifat Isiotan-Akinsanya, Lateefat Oluwatoyin, Abdoul Wahab, Muheez, Yinka and they are based in abroad.
The children of late deceased already organized a prayer session for the repose of the soul of their late father Alhaji Abdul Lateef-Babatunde Isiotan where Muslim missionaries prayed fervently for the Almighty Allah to give him a perfect rest in His bosom. Before his passing away, Alhaji Isiotan was known to be a kind and very generous man who believed seriously in the five pillars of Islam while also extending his philanthropic and benevolence acts to all humanity that came across him. Trust his clout, popularity and personality, the Lagos State NURTW Chairman, MC Oluomo and his wife Alhaja Sherifat will not leave any stone unturned in ensuring that Alhaji Abdul-Lateef Babatunde Isiotan is given a very befitting burial, expected to be stormed by the crème-de-la-crème of both the Nigerian and international communities. May the Almighty Allah grant Alhaji Abdul-Lateef Babatunde Isiotan Al-Janaat Firdaus.
