Top Lagos Executives, Dignitaries Storm The 60th Birthday, Retirement Bash Of Mrs. Bolodeoku

It was an atmosphere of aesthetic allure and glam when amiable and delectable Mrs. Florence Funmilayo Bolodeoku celebrated her 60tu birthday, creamed by her retirement from the Lagos State teaching service.

The enigmatic and energetic teacher cum educationist was massively celebrated by topnotch dignitaries who stormed the Imperial Hall in Ikeja, Lagos. Members of the high society and the academic were duly represented at the event. The hall was well decorated to suit the ambiance of the colourful event, a two in one memorable affair that will remain constant in the memory of the celebrant herself. She was given a solid backup and support by her children, colleagues, friends, well wishers and her former students.

Mrs. Funmilayo Bolodeoku paid her dues magnificently and remarkably, living memorable, outstanding performances as a public school teacher, vice principal and principal. Her journey into the teaching line in Lagos State was eventful and glorious. She is therefore leaving indelible marks in the hearts of all her former students who would miss her deeply.

She is an amazing amazon who served Lagos State government diligently and to the best of her abilities. A goal getter per excellence, Mrs. Bolodeoku acquired all necessary academic requirements to work as an educationist. Born into the family of Pa John Makinde and Madam Ruth Adunola Elusanmi in 1963, Mrs. Bolodeoku is a proud daughter of Ifetedo in Osun State who never jokes with education. She sleeps, eats, drinks education. She is so passionate about the academic world that she took her studies very paramount right from her childhood days.

Her elementary and secondary education were observed in her home town Ifetedo after which she proceeded to the Oyo State College of Education now Osun State College of Education, Ilesha where she obtained her Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) Economics and Mathematics. She then bagged a B.Sc in Economics from the Lagos State University, Ojo.

Mrs. Florence Funmilayo Bolodeoku served meritoriously in the following schools before retiring. They are; Muslim College Oworonshoki, Ikosi Junior High School, Isheri Junior Grammar School, Ikosi Senior High School, Kosofe Senior College, Ketu and CMS Girls Senior Grammar School, Bariga.

The amiable brain builder, Mrs. Bolodeoku delivered excellent performances in the discharge of her duties, she has been duly recognized for her distinguished teaching and administrative career. Some of the accolades include best in record keeping in 1994, best teacher in 1995, best head of department in 2005 and 2006, second best vice principal senior category, Kosofe Zone in 2029 and 2nd Best Principal Senior category, Somolu  zone in 2021 to mention a few.

She is a outstanding member of different recognized professional bodies which are Member, Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Member, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Member, Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN), Member, All Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPPS).

The celebrant and retiree Principal is an accomplished creative and innovative leader with exemplary personality. She is a dedicated pacesetter and a goal getter per excellence. An astute mathematician, Mrs. Bolodeoku taught mathematics in a convivial way, making it easier for all her students to understand. She is blessed immensely with wonderful interpersonal relationship traits, warm, easy going, friendly and motherly. Thank God, Mrs. Bolodeoku did everything in her capacity to unite everyone in a friendly work environment. She achieve this through her passion and patience.
