Nigeria’s gas sector is witnessing a revolution with the coming of the Smart Gas Alert System (SGAS) which provides solutions to household and commercial gas unexpected exhaustion and explosions.
The Managing Director of Everyman Technologies, a Lagos-based technology and IT solution company, Alexander Oseji, said the SGAS which employs complex automation to carry out unique tasks, is positioned to revolutionise Nigeria’s LPG industry.
He said SGAS has an SMS feature powered by an indoor unit that sends an SMS to the owner or refill station in the case of reduction in the volume of gas and sets off an alarm in the case of gas leakage and an in-built screen that displays the reading of the total gas cylinder weight and the gas volume allowing for real-time updates on gas volume.
