The founder and Chairman of Eleganza Group of Companies, Chief Dr. Rasaq Akanni Okoya has congratulated the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima on their inauguration as the Chief Stewards of the largest black nation in the world. In his goodwill message to the President and his Vice, Chief Dr. Okoya, the Aare of Lagos opined that as an experienced figure in the manufacturing sector and a respected elder citizen, he is extending his heartfelt congratulations to the duo while offering prayers of longevity for them to be able to steer the ship of the country to its desired harbour. Aare Okoya also affirmed that he hopes that the industrialization of the country would gain valued consideration with availability of constant electricity and by doing this, the ebullient and erudite manufacturing giant believes that it will go a very long way in keeping the Nigerian youths busy and further foster security because when the youths have something tangible and gainful doing, they would shy away from crimes and criminal tendencies. Chief Okoya then prayed for Asiwaju Bola Amed Tinubu, Alhaji Kashim Shettima and everyone who will work in the cabinet of the President to have productive tenures. He place his trust on Asiwaju and his entire executive cabinet to make Nigeria proud.
In similar vein, Aare Rasaq Okoya also congratulated the governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat for a deserving second term in office. The mercurial industrialist stressed that as one of the oldest industrialists in Nigeria, he is highly concerned about the erratic power supply bedevilling businesses in the state, most especially the manufacturing sector and he hope that this will be given top priority in the administration through the Lagos State Electric Board. He expressed that the development of the industrial sector would assist to create jobs for the youths and ensure better security. The most distinguished manufacturing mogul then urged all Nigerians to cooperate with the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria while also urging Lagosians to work hand-in-hand with the second tenure of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as he, alongside his deputy Obafemi Hamzat have great plans for the Centre of Excellence in the next four years.
Recall that Chief Dr. Rasaq Okoya once granted an interview where he called on the then incoming government of Tinubu to look deep into the development of the manufacturing sector of the Nigerian economy and coincidentally, the new President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reeled out industrialization as one of his major point of focus for national development during his inauguration speech at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Monday the 29th of May, 2023.
